Easter is less than a week away, and in this new podcast, Scott, Maggie, and I talk about what it means to say that Christ is risen. We also get into what it means to talk about our own resurrection. After all, that is the Christian hope: the resurrection of the body, as part of a new heaven and a new earth. As Charles Wesley so eloquently put it:
Soar we now where Christ hath led, Alleluia!
Foll’wing our exalted Head, Alleluia!
Made like Him, like Him we rise, Alleluia!
Ours the cross, the grave, the skies, Alleluia!

Bravo! Keep at it so I can keep sharing these conversations with others. I do want to pose a question for the good professors and Maggie: Are United Methodists universalists? I know the answer is “no” but I do get this impression from a number of my colleagues, so it might be worthy of taking up the question.
BTW, why not send Bishop Barron an invite? Who knows?
